Dr. Hardik Patel is a dedicated and highly skilled dentist passionate about delivering exceptional dental care. He began his journey in India, earning his dental degree in 2011 and practicing as a general dentist until 2013. Seeking to expand his career, he moved to the United States and went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Florida in 2021.

Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Patel attended the Nova Southeastern University AAID MaxiCourse (2019–2020) in Fort Lauderdale, further enhancing his expertise in advanced dentistry and implantology. Today, he provides comprehensive care ranging from simple fillings to full mouth reconstructions, always with precision and compassion.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Patel values time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys volleyball, tennis, and golf, and actively gives back to the community through charitable dental camps, cultural events, and wellness fairs across Brevard County.

Shady

Registered Dental Hygienist

Originally trained as a dentist in his home country, Shady earned his dental degree in 2015 before moving to the U.S. in 2023. Since then, he has passed both the INBDE and dental hygiene boards, showcasing his advanced clinical knowledge and dedication to patient care.

At Island Smiles, Shady focuses on preventative care, patient education, and building trust with every patient. He is also working toward obtaining his DDS in the U.S. to continue his journey as a dentist.

Outside the office, Shady enjoys the gym, playing pickleball, and spending time with his wife and young son.

Danielle

EFDA, Dental Office Manager

Danielle is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and proud graduate of Brevard Community College’s Dental Assisting Program (2011). With over 17 years of experience in dentistry — the last five in office management — she brings leadership, expertise, and compassion to Island Smiles.

Passionate about patient comfort, Danielle stays at the forefront of dentistry by attending the Florida Dental Association conference annually and recently volunteered at the Mission of Mercy, providing free dental care to underserved communities.

Outside of the office, Danielle enjoys paddleboarding, boating, and spending time with her two sons, ages 15 and 23.

Jess

Front Desk Business Associate

Jess, a proud Florida native, began her healthcare career as a medical assistant after graduating from Eastern Florida State College in 2012. She transitioned into dentistry in 2018 and now serves as a Front Desk Business Associate, where her warm personality helps patients feel at home the moment they arrive.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and especially her niece and nephews. She loves four-wheeling, swimming, and soaking up Florida sunshine. Recently engaged, Jess values her “work family” at Island Smiles and takes pride in being part of a caring team.

Lucia

Certified Dental Assistant

Lucia is a Certified Dental Assistant with hands-on experience since 2022. After beginning her career in New York, she graduated with her CDA from dental school in West Palm Beach in 2024. Fluent in Slovak, Polish, Czech, and English, Lucia connects with patients from diverse backgrounds and ensures they feel understood and cared for.

Friendly and supportive, she is passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every patient. In her free time, Lucia enjoys family time and long walks with her dog, Rudy.
